6. The Vacuum is a Mortal Enemy
Most cats have an aversion to loud noises, this not only includes fireworks, the banging of doors or items being accidently dropped, but the vacuum as well. When the roar of this “beast” comes to life, a cat will most likely head for a safer area. Whether it be under a bed, down in the basement behind the furnace or tucked away in a closet, cats will scramble to escape the clutches of the “kitty-sucker.” And if it has to take out a few breakables in the process, so be it, escape is imminent, regardless of who or what is in the path to safety.
