2. Bunting Isn’t Just in Baseball
When a cat bonks its head against yours or against your legs, its showing affection, even if it does hurt. This behavior is known as “bunting” and is actually the cat marking the person (or object) as its own. In the wild, cats use scent glands around their face and hind end to mark trees, rocks and other objects to let passing animals know it has been there. It’s sorta like a cat calling card.
