This thick, curly-coated breed may not be all that well-known, but it is a highly sociable cat that enjoys the company of its people. In fact, the Selkirk does not enjoy being left alone for long periods of time. In addition, this feline has been described as having a “silly streak.” It loves to be entertained with laser-pointers, cat fishing poles or other interactive playthings.
